Before starting RoofScapes, Jay built a successful career in private equity, managing hedge funds and helping oversee complex financial decisions. While financially rewarding, it came at a cost. As his children grew, he realized he wanted something different — to be the dad who picked his kids up from school every afternoon, coached their teams, and built a life centered around family and being true to his values.
Walking away from that career didn't make sense to onlookers, but Jay knew it was the right thing to do.
